They are not tour operators, we could not see birds in canopy walk, they changed our initial guide with an inexperienced guide.

We had a good tour experience (day tour: adventure, Lake Sandoval and clay lick) but worried about safety re number of life jackets on boats. zip line damaged in wind. Canopy walkway felt insecure but only personal opinion. Cheapest in town and good guides but ask safety questions first!

Definitely an interesting stay to say the least. Booked a double room through Airbnb which is substantially cheaper than booking through their website. At the time of check, the man behind the desk (we?ll call him Joe for this review) demanded we pay him $108 USD for our stay quite rudely. This was wrong as Airbnb is all pre-paid. We continued the back and forth until a nice lady came to our rescue and sorted it out. Upon arriving to our room we saw that it was not a double room but a TRIPLE with 2 double beds and 1 single and looked NOTHING like the pictures we saw on Airbnb. It had ants in the bed, separations in the floor from which you could see the ground, and a see-through curtain separating you from the park outside the window. It also didn?t have Wifi. Being 18/yo travellers who spoke zero Spanish, we did not take this issue to the front desk. One night into our stay we were awoken at 2am to pounding music from the bar next door. Annoyed (as this was one of only 2 rooms in the hotel bordering the bar) we went to the front desk only to see Joe was working. Seeing as we previously had troubles with this guy we opted to simply get a bottle of water and leave the issue until the morning. Upon asking for the bottle of water from Joe he said 10 soles (an absolute absurd but normal price for a hotel to ask for water). We said ?no? and then Joe said 8 soles and tried to take the money from my partners hand. We said no again and hurried back our room while Joe sulked back to his desk. I then texted the Airbnb host explaining our problems with the room and front desk staff (joe, the rude guy) and tried to get some sleep. The next morning a lady who a presume I texted, hurried up to me and started apologizing and saying that she had a different room for us. We then moved our stuff to the room she moved us to and WOW. The room was absolutely beautiful and similar to the room we saw on Airbnb. The views were stunning and room itself was clean. There was still the same ant problem but is was easily overlooked. For the most part the hostel is quite nice. Every room has an AC unit, the pool is great, and they have a nice breakfast in the morning. However, it?s clear that they have two types of rooms; really new and really old. Be wary when booking to make sure you get the room you pay for.

Apesar da gritaria do local é bem fácil comprar passagens para Cusco, os que desejam ir para a fronteira do Brasil em Iñapari, tem umas opções em táxi do lado de fora
