Sergio and his son are angels. They are so hardworking and are available whenever you have a question or need assistance! The beds are very comfortable, and the rooms are spacious. It is in a perfect location within walking distance to some delicious street meat! The shower is hot and powerful and the breakfast comes with great variety. I highly recommend a stay at Barrio Inka!

Excellent accomodation and great value for money option In Cusco!! Get the upstairs bedroom. Stayed 10 nights, November 2019 Big bedroom with 2 double beds and comfortable furniture, chairs and table. Rooms are clean and serviced regularly. Great bed and quality linen. Excellent hot water in shower. Hair dryer, electric jug. Excellent heater, much appreciated! Good WIFI connection. Luggage storage available. Good location, walking distance to Centro historico, cafes and bars. Excellent breakfast option included, 5 types of fruit available, cereal, bread, fresh squeezed juice and your choice of eggs. Secured compound. Spent 5 days here before Salkantay Trek, Machu Picchu and 3 days afterwards. Really enjoyed our stay here, Sergio is a great host with excellent English and is very helpful. Would definitely stay again, thanks Sergio!! ?? Bruce & Margo

The owner is a really friendly and helpful guy. There is a hot shower really nice after some hikes. The laundry service is quick and it is possible to leave your luggage for some days. The rooms are basic but the WiFi is good. In a few minutes you can walk to the center with a decent supermarket.

We went as a group of 4 that stayed here back in 2015. The rooms were great, well kept. Sergio, the host had great local tips, went beyond all of our expectations and is incredibly modest. During our stay, we had asked for some favours (laundry, modified check in and check out times as we stayed there more than once, holding luggage, etc) during our stay and they were met above and beyond. We had nothing but praise, and had zero complaints. I would recommend this to anyone I knew who was visiting Cusco.

Cleanliness = 5/5 - The bedroom ,bathroom and kitchen were all very clean. Hospitality = 5/5 - Sergio is an awesome host. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with a map and a business card. Sergio can do anything you need. Great advice on things local. Breakfast is free and served from 7:30-10. Consists of fresh made eggs, bread with jam, coffee and tea, yogurt, cereal. The beds are really comfortable, pillow tops with lots of warm blankets. The showers have nice hot water. LOCATION = 5/5 - 5 minute walk to the main plaza. This place is far enough away that it is really quiet but close enough to everything in a 10 minute walk. Wifi =5/5 - worked very well in the entire room. Highly recommend staying here. Come again ? Yes come again

I am a seasoned traveler who has travelled to over 40 countries, stayed between hostals to 5 stars hotels but never have i experienced such awful hospitality. It has got to be my worst hotel experience ever. The first 3 nights are booked on expedia and it was borderline ok. I noticed that certain races/nationality are given preferential treatment perhaps due to the notion that these customers are more likely to tip generously, they are often being greeted warmly and enthusiastically offered help with their luggages whereas asians like us are being discriminated. The hotel breakfast was super boring, everyday it was the exact same menu, by the time it got to the 4th day, i just couldnt have it. We rather go to the nearby markets. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to extend our stay in Cusco for another 3 nights, despite being unhappy with the race discrimination and breakfast, we still chose to extend with Casa Andina as we felt it was too much of a hassle to find a new hotel. We then paid the hotel immediately at the rate of $75 USD/night. That is when the true terror begins. The 5th day, when we returned from an outing, a male receptionist with glasses approached us furiously and accused us of cheating them infront of all the hotel guests at the lobby. It was really interesting that we made payment directly at the receiption with a credit card and that they made a mistake charging us in soles rather than usd$ but instead of apologizing for the inconvenience they have caused us, they can turn around and accuse my friend and i of cheating them. We honestly did not realized that we were being undercharged and immediately paid the difference but since then, they treated us indifferently as if we were freeloaders at the hotel. Our rooms were not cleaned properly, when the toilet papers were empty, it was not replenished. At the lobby we were given weird stares by the receptionists, doorman and porter. They treated us as if we didnt exists. On the last day, we were charged 15 soles for a 4 minute local call. We just couldnt wait to get the hell out of Casa Andina, we checked out the 1st thing in the morning even though our flight is at a much later time. I would have given this hotel 0 star if i could. This is truly the most disgustingly unprofessional, racists hotel i ever stayed in
