Awesome hotel. Rooms are decent size. Several food options at hotel and great courtyard with live music at night.

Excellent peaceful property. Great location. Breakfast was really wonderful. Smoothie and juice bar was wonderful. Not a lot of vegan options but what they had was great. Rooms very nice. Our room did have odd windows (opened to a veranda below) and I don?t think there was AC but we did not need it in August. Derive was great!

Nice little boutique hotel. Comfortable funky rooms, very accommodating staff, and a good location. The restaurant has good food and is quite inexpensive.

Wonderful staff! Helpful and attentive. They went above and beyond to solve a problem I blamed (incorrectly) on the hotel. The staff works together well. And, nice ambiance. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. They will make you feel at home.

Comfortable. Very spread out. Got winded walking to our room. Was confused why my wife and I were in a room that had only 3 twin beds.

Alojamiento

I loved visiting this beautiful, quiet lodge that is family-owned and run. The owners greeted us on our arrival, leading us to charming rooms that led out to a central garden with beautiful plants and flowers. They encouraged us to visit the dining room and place our orders and then return to our rooms to prepare for dinner. While we freshened up, our dinners were cooked to perfection. La Capilla offered other amenities for our leisure: a bar where we enjoyed wine and conversation with others; a lounge with magazines, books and games; and the beautiful garden. I would highly rate La Capilla Lodge.

I am a seasoned traveler who has travelled to over 40 countries, stayed between hostals to 5 stars hotels but never have i experienced such awful hospitality. It has got to be my worst hotel experience ever. The first 3 nights are booked on expedia and it was borderline ok. I noticed that certain races/nationality are given preferential treatment perhaps due to the notion that these customers are more likely to tip generously, they are often being greeted warmly and enthusiastically offered help with their luggages whereas asians like us are being discriminated. The hotel breakfast was super boring, everyday it was the exact same menu, by the time it got to the 4th day, i just couldnt have it. We rather go to the nearby markets. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to extend our stay in Cusco for another 3 nights, despite being unhappy with the race discrimination and breakfast, we still chose to extend with Casa Andina as we felt it was too much of a hassle to find a new hotel. We then paid the hotel immediately at the rate of $75 USD/night. That is when the true terror begins. The 5th day, when we returned from an outing, a male receptionist with glasses approached us furiously and accused us of cheating them infront of all the hotel guests at the lobby. It was really interesting that we made payment directly at the receiption with a credit card and that they made a mistake charging us in soles rather than usd$ but instead of apologizing for the inconvenience they have caused us, they can turn around and accuse my friend and i of cheating them. We honestly did not realized that we were being undercharged and immediately paid the difference but since then, they treated us indifferently as if we were freeloaders at the hotel. Our rooms were not cleaned properly, when the toilet papers were empty, it was not replenished. At the lobby we were given weird stares by the receptionists, doorman and porter. They treated us as if we didnt exists. On the last day, we were charged 15 soles for a 4 minute local call. We just couldnt wait to get the hell out of Casa Andina, we checked out the 1st thing in the morning even though our flight is at a much later time. I would have given this hotel 0 star if i could. This is truly the most disgustingly unprofessional, racists hotel i ever stayed in
