The Amazon Within is a perfect place to chill in the busy city of Iquitos. It can seem a bit crazy on the streets at times but inside the Amazon Within is an oasis of calm. Julio, who runs the place, is an amazing human being and I had some truly great conversations with him in the short time I was there. Also with some of the other staff at the time, they were just brilliant to be able to chat with before heading off into the jungle. I was also very fortunate to meet some other really interesting people here. Chilled vibes, comfortable beds, love this place

We stayed here for two nights and everything was great. Very clean very friendly and helpful. We had a great experience. They also offer Jungle-Tours for a very fair price. We went for two days and it was absolutely amazing. Very recommendable

Cheap and cheerful! With kitchen, drinkable water, pool and garden. On top of that and the best part of it, there is Julio, the owner. A genuinely humble and helpful being with sound suggestions and advise. Julio, we stayed there at the beginning of December and went to Isla de los monos following your suggestion. Very neat, clean and organized hostel. Super nice stuff and quiet and peaceful atmosphere. They offer a jungle tour with a local family (no agency) that I highly recommend as well. You can have ayahuasca ceremony as the part of the tour. I did it and had a great experience. Super happy with my stay.
